    College Football Today

Miami, after looking so good against Texas A&M is stinking it up today vs Duke. 24-14 Canes.

Also Illinois is beating PSU 27-20. Zook has got that program turned around. Miss St is also surprising South Carolina as we speak. LSU also showed signs of mediocrity today. Hopefully, Virginia will take care of Pitt tonight.

They had the ball about 4-5 times inside the 20 and the 30 and came away with nothing. Overall they moved the ball ok, probably onver 400 yards total offense but they have to get better in the redzone. Duke is better than they get credit for. Their qb may be the best in the ACC.

Ryan Hill & Sam Shields didn't play today--not that it really mattered. Our D has to step up and dominate in games like this. I'm telling you, had they played today like they played against TAMU, they beat Duke by 50. However, they played like they did against OU and just about lost the ballgame. Pass D was horrid. Run D against the spread was porous.

Kyle threw 2 INT's that he shouldn't have thrown and I think it's time to make Graig Cooper the featured back in the offense. Baby J's a good RB, but he's doesn't have top level speed/quickness. He's agile and smart, but doesn't have the rest of the game to put it all together. Cooper's the truth though.

TAMU was a paper champion, I was waiting for today to happen. Miami's pass D didnt do as well against Duke because Duke is a better passing offense, much better. Nothing really changed between then and now, just the opponent. Duke probably could beat TAMU in all honesty. James gets the tough yards and is the better blocker, Id stick with him.

Put 50 bucks on the Ducks taking down Cal today, let's just see what happens here, tied up 3-3 close to the half
